Mancora, the beach paradise, has a warm tropical climate. Sun doesn't give a truce to this town at the north of Peru, which is the reason why thousands of tourists visit its beaches to surf, enjoy the good food, the fun and the tranquility of its stunning beach houses.

Mancora's average temperature is 84.2ºF, but in December, January, March, and April, that are the warmer ones, it goes up to 95ºF. Due to El Niño phenomenon, that is related to the eastern equatorial Pacific warming, which is cyclical, the temperatures can go up to 104ºF. At the nights, these months can come accompanied by light rains.

In May and June, it's autumn in Mancora. During these dates, the temperatures can drop down to 66.2ºF, but you can still enjoy the sun during the mornings and afternoons.

The winter months are July, August, and September, and the temperatures can drop to 62.61F. Although the days are still sunny, nights become fresher and windier.

In November and December, it's spring in Mancora. The temperatures maintain around 86ºF.

Sea

The temperature of the sea during the summer is, on average, around 75.2ºF. During the rest of the seasons, the sea maintains a temperature of 71.6ºF.

Clothing

If you are wondering what clothing to wear in Mancora, you are going to love this response: forget about coats, thick pants, long-sleeves shirts and closed shoes with high-knee socks. In Mancore you have to use light clothing, especially during the day time. Shorts, dresses, short pants, short sleeved shirts, crops, and sandals are your best allies. Ah, and don't forget your swimsuit.

For the nights, that are fresh but not cold, you can use the same type of attire you used during the day. If are one of those people who get chilly easily, you can wear pants at night.
